Facing issue while trying to deploy

Hi team,
I am facing this error message while I tried to deploy the code. Help us to fix it as soon as possible.

Hi Team,
Please provide the update as soon as possible.

Hi Nevetha,

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the delayed response.

The error message is saying you’re not authorized to access that external feed (https://adam-vc01.pkgs…). If you locate this external feed in your Octopus Library (see the Library menu, then External Feeds), you should be able to do a “Save and Test” to see if the authentication details to that feed are succeeding or failing.

If this external feed used to work for your project, but is now failing, you will need to follow up with whoever owns that external feed and get the new credentials.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
Mark

Hi Mark,

We would like to know what is the external feed does?
what it is used for?
what credential is needed for it ?
who will provide the credentials for this?

Because we didn’t do any changes in octopus as well as vsts.
We also tried with different users but everyone are facing the same issue.

Please let us know more information regarding this.

Thanks in advance,
Nevetha

Hi Nevetha,

This external feed has been setup by someone within your company (this is not controlled by Octopus). You will need to ask internally within your company as to who setup/owns this VSTS feed, and specifically ask who setup the feed in Octopus, as they will be able to advise you.

From your screenshot, the project is called “Adam” and the package feed is prefixed with the word “adam”, so you need to go looking for someone in your company who setup that project’s deployment process, as they should know the details of this external feed, including why Octopus is no longer able to authenticate against it.

You can learn more about package repositories (including VSTS) and what they are used for from our Package Repository documentation.

Hope this helps.
Mark
