Enctyption of *.dll.config files in bin folder

Hello,

We build package by Teamcity and there are many *.dll.config files that include passwords in another folder. I can encrypt web.config file by Encryption Step but it does not work for others. Is there a way to encrypt any config file that is not located in installation directory (because they are in bin folder) beside web.config?

Thanks for getting in touch.

No, there is currently no way to encrypt files other than web.config or app.config (e.g. [Executable].exe.config).

You would have to write your own custom step to do other files. You could use the existing steps as a starting point and go from there.
