Editing Octopus variable does not show current value

I copied and pasted some JSON into a new variable using Open Editor

Saved the variable.

If i then try to edit it with Open Editor again, and the old value is not populated in the editor window.

However in the variable list view, i can see the value i pasted in before.

It just doesn’t show when i use Open Editor.

I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue, I understand this type of behavior can be frustrating.

I’ve attempted to replicate this issue, unfortunately, without success.

There was an existing issue for this that was resolved in 2018.2.2 which I’ve linked below;

Issue: Variable value disappears when opening editor

If you are running a version older than this, please attempt to upgrade to at least this version, at your earliest convenience.

If you are running a version of Octopus that is later than this already, can you please let me know your version?
