Dynamic packages version is not the latest

I am using Octopus v2019.3.1 LTS.
Following this doc I tried setting up a dynamic package ID selection.
I tried doing it both from the project variables and from the tenant variables. In both cases the correct ID is selected after the release creation, but the package version is never the latest.

What am I doing wrong ?

Hi Theo,

Thanks for getting in touch! I suspect the only thing you’d need to do is add an unscoped value to this Feed variable in your project. Only unscoped variables can be resolved at release creation time, as variables that are scoped don’t have the context at that point to be able to be resolved. Does that give you the behavior you’re after?
