DOM nodes leaking in Octopus user interface causing Chrome to crash

Octopus UI seems to have a major DOM nodes memory leak which renders the browser unresponsive. I have noticed similar problems with few other applications built on Angular. Attached is a video and a screenshot of the memory leak.

Thank-you for reporting this. Your evidence is certainly convincing.

I have raised an issue, and we will hopefully be able to resolve it quickly.

Do we have a resolution for this? Please do write how you resolved this as I can see that a lot of angular projects are struggling with the same problem.

No, we haven’t resolved this issue yet.

You can follow the issue in GitHub to see when it is actioned. I will also try to ensure this ticket is updated once the issue is resolved.

And you’re right, it is a common problem.
