DOM nodes leaking in Octopus user interface causing Chrome to crash

Octopus UI seems to have a major DOM nodes memory leak which renders the browser unresponsive. I have noticed similar problems with few other applications built on Angular. Attached is a video and a screenshot of the memory leak.

Do we have a resolution for this? Please do write how you resolved this as I can see that a lot of angular projects are struggling with the same problem.
