Does Octopus Deploy Dashboard Require Internet Access

Hi,

We are currently running v1.1.8.1430 in two seperate environments, one with Internet access and one without. In the environment without Internet access I havve noticed not all the graphics are being displayed eg:icon next to user name in top right hand corner.

Also when I try to log out this fails and I can the site attempting to connect to
https://secure.gravatar.com

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Hi Sam,

Yes, the user icon at the top of the pages does require internet access (for Gravatar). This however is the only use.

Note that this request is made from the user’s web browser, not from the Octopus server itself. We have a page detailing the external requests made by the Octopus server here:
