Disable variables option

Hi Octopus,

Is there a way to disable variables on octopus 2.0?
I’ve often thought this would be a useful option rather than renaming or removing completely.

When we go through stages of removing environments or combining variables it would be nice to have the option to simply disable a variable and then delete it later. This would allow us to test the changes and rollback easily if we encounter an issue.

Hi Edward, it’s not currently possible but it is a good suggestion, I’ll make a note of it the next time we revisit variables.
