Desired State Configuration resource on GitHub

I see there’s a DSC resource for installing Tentacles on GitHub - https://github.com/OctopusDeploy/OctopusDSC - great!.

I’d love to be able to use it but I see it makes a few assumptions about install path and download URL. Our servers don’t have access to the internet (we host installers internally) so the resource won’t work as-is.

Several users have made modifications and submitted pull requests but they haven’t been accepted (or rejected). Are there any plans to address this or to develop the resource further or should I fork and add to the fragmentation?!

Hi Robin,

Thanks for reaching out. We’ll review the pull requests and see which ones makes sense to merge on future sprints. We’ll also try to implement a way to avoid needing internet to get the installer (Getting it from a fileshare might do)
