On the deployment screen all steps are shown regardless of if they are in the scope of the Channel for the release. For example, I have a deployment with three steps two of which were scoped to the “default” scope which was created automatically upon upgrade. I added the last step post upgrade and scoped it to a new “v8.3” scope I had created. I created a release using the “v8.3” Channel but all steps are listed on the deployment screen. However, as expected, only the step scoped to “v8.3” is actually executed at deploy-time.
