Today I noticed the test server was running out of HDD space, and when I did a check with space sniffer I saw that 25GB was taken by the Octopus tentacle.
We deploy to test quite often, maybe 10 times a day, each deploy is about 50MB and there are about 450 deployments on the server. The nuget packages are there but also the unpacked files.
How do I make sure that the unpacked files are deleted after deployment?
Thanks for getting in touch! If you configure the Retention Policy for Tentacles it will delete the unpacked files. You can set it to keep X number and delete the rest.
Setting these configurations for Tentacle side will not effect the data on the Octopus Server side.
