Deleted or re-IP'ed Tentacles are not excluded from Health Check

I’m running Octopus Deploy We recently changed a load of our IP addresses, moved servers into VLANs, etc in our data centre. When I try to run a health check on a Tentacle, it attempts to check the old IP address as well as the new one.
The health check never completes against the old IP. I have tried deleting and re-adding the machine, I have tried deleting and re-adding the environment but the behaviour persists. Any ideas?

No problem, I also saw phantom servers on the dropdown when editing
variables. The joys of eventual consistency eh.
