Database upgrade required after install

Hello,

I have installed the Octopus server, and when i attempt to launch the Portal application I see a message stating I need to upgrade the database server.

Using the Server Tools, I am told my database is up-to-date, yet the portal message persists.

Diagnostic Info:
Build: version 0.8.380.1988, built 05 Sep 2011
DB Name - 'OctopusTest’
Schema applied : Script0003
Portal Port #: 8080

Please check the event log on the Octopus server - this error often appears because of a problem connecting to SQL server (such as a permissions problem or invalid connection string). It’s a bug I’ll try to fix shortly.

Okay, I got the update, and see now that the Network Service running Octopus server could not connect to the database, and I fixed that on my end. Thank you.
