Create a release when a package is pushed - not working

“Create a release when a package is pushed to the built-in package repository” is turned on for a project, however, the release is NOT getting created. The package IS getting created as expected.

Just started seeing this in versions 3.3.8 and later.

Hi Michael,

Try checking on the audit logs for an entry related to your package push. It should explain why the release wasn’t created.
