Conditional variable prompt

I have a scenario where I only need to prompt a user for a variable in certain situations. Is there a way to add some logic to when a user is prompted for a variable (skipped in some scenarios)?

Hi Justin,

Thanks for reaching out. Prompted variables can be scoped only to Environments. Meaning if you scope it to “Production”, it’ll only show up to prompt the user when you deploy to this environment.

Hi Justin,

Right now they can only be scoped to Environments unfortunately. I’ve created a Uservoice suggestion to expand their scope to Steps, Machines and Roles as well. Please try to drop by and add some votes to it if you’d like to see this implemented in the future
