Clone project option missing after upgrade

Am I going blind? I Can’t find the Clone project button in Settings of a old project after upgrade from 3.5 -> 3.6 -> 3.7.2

Any idea why?

Thanks for getting in touch.

From what we can tell, nothing has changed in regards to this Clone button in the project settings menu. I did notice that it requires ProjectCreate permissions in order to be visible. Have any of your permissions changed? Could you please confirm your user belongs to a team that has the ProjectCreate (ie. “Create projects”) role?

My user has been the admin all the way and is currently a member of Octopus Administrators. I tried now to log in as another administrator and the Clone button was available. The problem emerged when we started to use Team participation with Project Groups. So I think this has to do with the way restrictions to Project groups has been implemented.

Good call. You are correct. We have raised a GitHub issue here that you can track if you wish to be notified when a fix for this is available.
