Is there a way in octopus to delete any release past the previous 5, kind of like capistrano does for rails applications? We’re starting to get a large number of deployments in our environments and many old folders laying around.
I can do it with a postdeploy task myself, just wondering if there was a built in way with octopus.
thanks!
Sean
Hi Sean,
Not currently, though it’s something that will be in 1.0. There’s a task on the board called “Auto purge Tentacles”:

A post deploy task is the only way currently I’m afraid

No problem. It’s easy enough to add a postdeploy task for now and then once the feature gets added I can remove the task that I will create.
Thanks!
Sean
