Changing the Run condition on an 'Send an email' step doesn't work anymore

The setting always pops back to ‘Success: …’ after saving and re-opening the step form.
On the other hand, it might be saved correctly but the field’s actual value might not be shown correctly instead because I think all of my mail steps that were formerly set to Run condition: Failure now seem to be set to Success.
