Change licenses

Hi Team,

We have got a new license for our Octopus deploy instance (data center). Now we have to update it in our existing production instance. Will this involve a restart of the service or will there be no downtime?
Can you confirm on this?

I can confirm that updating your license does not require a service or server restart for Octopus, so there will be no downtime. Due to caching it might take a while for the update to reflect in the Octopus UI, however this will resolve itself over time without any intervention.
