Can't delete a machine from removed environment

Hi,

I had an environment (staging) that contained two machines, these two machines were not part of another environment. I deleted the staging environment without first deleting the machines, I am now unable to delete the machines that were in the deleted staging environment , and as we’ve had updates (and also switched off the machines) all my health checks keep failing.

Is there a way to delete these machines? I’ve tried adding them to another environment and then deleting them but they still hang around.

Hi Gareth,

You’ll have to delete the documents from the RavenDB database (go to Configuration->Storage tab) directly unfortunately. In the next release I’ll make sure orphaned machines are deleted when the environment is, and also ignored when health checks/upgrades/deployments are run.
