BUG: Changing process Step Name doesn't get applied everywhere

My project got renamed. So i changed names in my deployment project to match. However, in the deployment logs, the Step Name is still the old name. See Screenshots.

Thanks for getting in touch. Was this deployment/release (release 1.2.0.288) created after you renamed the steps? If not, you’ll need to create a new release - we snapshot the step names when releases are created.

Otherwise, is it possible you are running an old version of Octopus? We had a bug where renaming steps didn’t take effect, but if I remember correctly we fixed it a couple of months ago.

I change the names again and it seems to work now. Like you said, must have been an older bug. Thanks.
