Backing up my Octopus Deploy environment

Hi,

What’s the best way to backup my Octopus Deploy environment (i.e., all of my projects)? Can projects be back up individually? Should I keep backups of the SQL Server DB (and can that be easily restored)? Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jafar,

Thanks for getting in touch. You can find a summary here on how to back up Octopus:

The short answer is yes, you’ll need to set up SQL Server backups. Backing up your Octopus “home” directory (C:\Octopus usually) is also a good idea.
