We have over 400 tasks awaiting intervention from various projects and wondered is there a way to clear them all down without having to go through it manually?

Thank you for contacting Octopus Support. Good question about bulk clearing down tasks awaiting manual intervention.
We have a script here that will approve or abort one intervention task. You should be able to manipulate that and perform a bulk approval / deny.
The other option you have is to use this script which will bulk cancel ALL queued deployments.
CAVEAT - That will also cancel current queued deployments NOT part of the 400 tasks that are queued because of manual intervention but if you are happy to note down the ones that should be running and re-run them after the script then the second script would be a quick option for you.
