API getting machine name

Hi,

If I submit an API request to /api/machines/all

I get back an object containing the “Name”

however in our console this appears to be the display name… not the name displayed below this… anyway I can get this from the api?

Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out. You can only get the Display Name and the URL of the machine from the API. The name displayed below is the same value you entered on the Tentacle URL field on the web UI, without the “http” part.

Thanks, I’ll just sort out a regex to parse the hostname out then.
