Add description to tar.gz package in repo

We’re just starting out using Octopus to deploy to a linux server (previous stuff has been windows).
We’ve pushed a tar.gz package using Octo push. We’d like to add a description to the package in the repository. How do we do that?

Thanks for getting in touch!

Are you referring to the description field on the packages page?

If so, unfortunately, that field is only populated via the description field within the nuspec file of a nupkg.

This description isn’t used anywhere else in the UI, so I believe it may have gone a little unloved when we expanded the built-in repo to accept non-nupkg files.
