I’m using AD authentication and just want to make sure that I haven’t missed anything before I start creating a bunch of AD groups. There is no way to assign roles to a single AD user without him first logging in, correct?

Thanks for reaching out. That is correct, the user needs to login first for Octopus to create a user for him on the Octopus database. Only after the user was created on the Octopus Database you can add it to teams with roles on them.
