Ability to perform basic Windows tasks without having to go via Nuget package deployment

Hi,

Octopus supports creation / deletion of Windows servics as part of the Nuget package deployment. But it would be nicer if it could made as an independent task as well? Our requirement is to be able to stop the services, take a DB backup and perform certain MSMQ checks and then proceed with the deployment. Please let me know if it can be scoped for Future enhancements / Wishlist. Thanks.
